Giripremi’s  Mt.  Everest  Expedition 2026

At the dawn of May 21, 2026, Giripremi’s elite climbers Vivek Shivade, Mihir Jadhav, and Akhil Katkar successfully stood atop the summit of Mt. Everest (8848.86 m)

After nearly 50 days of battling the brutal Himalayan elements, facing immense uncertainty, and navigating an incredibly narrow summit window, Giripremi has once again etched its name in mountaineering history by carrying the Indian Tricolour to the top of the world.

At the dawn of May 21, 2026, Giripremi’s elite climbers Vivek Shivade, Mihir Jadhav, and Akhil Katkar successfully stood atop the summit of Mt. Everest (8848.86 m). This historic feat was achieved alongside our incredible and relentless Sherpa team-Urgen Sherpa, Lakpa Sherpa, and Lakppa Tenji Sherpa, whose unparalleled strength made this victory possible.

This monumental moment belongs to every climber, Sherpa, family member, supporter, well-wisher, and sponsor who believed in our vision and stood by us throughout this arduous journey. Your collective blessings travelled with the team through the treacherous Khumbu Icefall, up the sheer Lhotse Face, and straight through the Death Zone, giving our climbers strength in their toughest moments.
