On the 8th of Nov 2008 three out of four giripremi mountaineers reached the summit of Mt. friendship without using high altitude porters which resulted in the team carrying their own cooking supplies, tents etc. this expedition was a winter expedition which also made the climbers bear extreme colds temperatures and winds. The team also had the challenge of opening  the route on the peak.

• Mount Friendship also popularly known as Friendship Peak is a mountain summit near Beas Kund in Himachal Pradesh, India.

• It is at a  height of 5300 m above sea level.

• This was a Winter Ascent by Giripremi’s Mountaineers.
