Located in the remote Nubra/Shyok region of Ladakh, north of the high Lasermo La pass, Mt. Sahib Chasa (6,078 m) is one of the most elusive peaks in the Trans-Himalayan landscape, a mountain that sees very few human footprints, with only a handful of expeditions ever attempting its summit.
The climb is unforgiving, demanding strong technical skills, high-altitude endurance, and sharp mental resolve across isolated valleys, glacial moraines, and unpredictable weather. For Giripremi’s young expedition team, this is more than a summit, it is a statement that years of rigorous training and determination have finally made possible.

The Mt. Sahib Chasa Expedition was officially announced in Pune on March 22, 2026, alongside the Giripremi’s Mt. Everest expedition 2026 – flagoff. The mission was launched by Shri Suhas Diwase (Director of YASHADA), Shri Ganesh Jadhav (Founder, Gangotree Homes and Holidays), and Mayor of Pune Smt. Manjusha Nagpure, signaling a bold step forward for Giripremi’s rising climbers.
